‘Roid Week 2011 – Days 1-3
It’s ‘Roid Week 2011! “What’s ‘Roid Week?” you might ask. It is one week out of the year when all things Polaroid and instant photography are celebrated on Flickr. Instant film photographers share their very best images in the Flickr group, and lovers of this type of photography revel in all its amazingness. The folks who started ‘Roid Week also hope that the week will challenge those of us who shoot Polaroid or other types of instant cameras to up our game and aim to produce new and fabulous work. I have been awe-struck by the photographs I have seen in the Flickr pool already this week.
This is the first time I’ve participated in ‘Roid Week and I have to say that I’m both excited and intimidated (You saw the awe-struckness that I was talking about, right? You clicked those links to take a look, right?). But I do feel good about the work I’m contributing to the group and I’m proud of the Polaroid progress I’ve made in the last year. Here are the photos I contributed for Day 2 and Day 3. You saw the two I shared for Day 1 here and here (incidentally, both of them are of Melissa).
Looking forward to showing you what I have for Days 4 and 5!
