I’m on Shutter Sisters

Just a little note to say one of my Polaroids is featured over at Shutter Sisters today by the lovely and talented Meredith Winn. I took this photograph of Meredith at Camp Shutter Sisters, and it is truly my favorite image from that retreat. I love it because it’s a Polaroid, because it was shot with rapidly unavailable expired 600 film, because the light is simply gorgeous. But I cherish this photograph because of the conversation that happened with Meredith before, during, and after I shot it. I hold this photograph close to my heart because the reverberations of being seen and seeing another are still rippling.

Thank you, Meredith, for letting me see you. xoxo

Do you have a favorite photograph? What is it and why do you cherish it?
