Love Affair

I’ve been shooting with alot of film of late (please don’t tell my digital SLR). I’m simply having a love affair with analog these days. While I have one roll of film that I’m dropping off at the lab today and another roll in a borrowed Rolleicord (what a beautiful camera — more falling in love), here are some new Polaroids I’ve taken with my Sx-70 using Impossible Project Film.

With the PX680 film…

With the new PX70 film, specifically for SX-70 camera…

I think the imperfections make these images all the more perfect!

Have any new loves of your own these days? Old loves that you’re revisiting? I’d love to hear about your current love affairs.

I do so love your polaroids. I feel like the simple, imperfectness of them makes the moments you capture more intimate and personal. Makes me wish you were here and could make my life look like these gorgeous still moments you capture! 🙂

Gorgeous photos Meghan! I love the subtle differences in the colours of the PX680 and the PX70. I’ve been shooting PX70 over the summer but just loaded in some PX680. Also, I have some expired 600 winging its way to me. Can’t wait to shoot Polaroids with you at Camp! I gave a little squee! this morning when I read that Allessandra Cave will be leading a Polaroid session!

I’m having a love affair with your photos! The one of the car is divine. Your Canon must be getting lonely, though…

The car is an awesome find. Do you have any more “hidden gems” out there? Let us know more about your Impossible Project film adventures.
